Punch Taverns win National Green Award with help from Inenco
Inenco's push reporting service has assisted one of our biggest clients in winning a "Green Award 2008" for the "Best Internal Communication". Inenco push out weekly reports to individual sites allowing consumption issues to be dealt with in a timely fashion. Alongside an internal DVD and workshops the push reporting has influenced the behaviour of Spirit pub managers and impressed judges from The Energy Saving Trust, Channel 4, WWF and Radio 2's Janey Lee Grace, to name a few! Representatives from Inenco were invited by Spirit to the event at The Brewery in London where the winners were announced, acknowledging our role in assisting Spirit to win this prestigious award.

Commitment to Climate Change
Are the UK Government truly committed to climate change? According to reports leaked last week it appears plans to curb carbon emissions consist of buying more carbon credits and offsetting. Is this really a viable option?
However the backlash to this policy isn't the Governments only problem, with a new report highlighting future generation gaps and the possibility the renewable plans will be unable to generate the capacity required. The Government is to face more problems unless they find a way to address demand.
