The Climate Change Levy (CCL) was introduced by the Government in April 2001 to support the Kyoto Commitment, affecting all non-domestic users in the UK. CCL is charged on energy used, and is aimed at reducing energy consumption and thus reducing the negative impact that our energy use has on the environment.
