Wasting no time in supporting CeDo with their CCA management

Client Name: CeDo Ltd
See how we helped CeDo with their CCA management to save their business £52,770 and increase their annual CCL discount

The Challenge

CeDo is the largest manufacturer of own label and branded household disposables in Europe. They employ over 2,000 people across Europe and Asia operating from 4 different manufacturing sites and 5 regional sales offices.

CeDo did not meet their CCA Target Period 1 and were forecast to fail Target Period 2. They had lost confidence with their existing CCA consultant capabilities and, through a benchmarking exercise, they identified Inenco as an industry leader in CCA management.

Our Approach

Established Strategy

Inenco explained the CCA Performance Review service to CeDo

CCA Performance Review

Inenco dissected the CCA structure to understand exactly what energy was being reported on and why

Performed Site Surveys

Inenco performed site surveys and site interviews to ensure 100% accuracy of understanding the business

Presented the Report

A report of findings was then presented for client consideration

Often, energy eligibility is reported incorrectly, or changes on site are not reported correctly under the scheme. Inenco concluded that CeDo’s existing CCA consultant was not reporting the correct energy processes, and had also failed to identify performance improvement options that CeDo qualified for. CeDo decided to action all of Inenco’s report recommendations to restructure their CCA, resulting in more accurate reporting of energy usage and also an improved performance against sector target. CeDo were pleased with the quality and speed of service and decided to employ Inenco to manage the full CCA compliance requirements moving forward.

CeDo are forecast to save £52,770 in total as well as a 13.8% improvement in CCL Discount claimed per annum.
