WSP Textiles Ltd is an independent UK company who specialise in the manufacture of high performance woollen cloth for billiard sports and tennis ball coverings. The brand dominates the snooker and English pool markets while their tennis ball cloth can be found on Dunlop, Wilson, Slazenger, Babolat and Tretorn tennis balls used at many tournaments worldwide including Wimbledon, the Australian Open and Roland Garros.
WSP Textiles Ltd were facing a considerable buy-out penalty after greater than expected energy consumption during CCA Target Period 2. As restructuring a CCA can be a complex procedure, WSP Textiles Ltd felt they didn’t have the necessary experience within the organisation and therefore, called upon the expertise of Inenco to achieve this. Inenco were then appointed to undertake a CCA performance review in order to understand their position, prior to retaining Inenco for full CCA Management.
Inenco attended the site and explained the CCAs – how they work and gave a full operational tutorial to WSP Textiles Ltd
Inenco advised what could be done to improve the accuracy of CCA reporting before advising which compliance packages were available for the client
Inenco performed site surveys, conducted interviews and evaluated current processes to ensure 100% accuracy of understanding the business
A report of findings was then presented including avenues for restructuring and implications of pursuing the recommendations made
Under Inenco’s CCA management service WSP Textiles Ltd managed to reduce their buy-out penalty by 51% for Target Periods 2, 3 and 4 and also achieved an additional refund for Target Period 1.
WSP Textiles Ltd needed a consultant who could fulfil their requirement for heightened reporting to reduce their penalty. They were happy with the overall service and as a result, Inenco were employed for full CCA Management.
