Inenco scoops top accolade at national industry awards

Inenco Group have been awarded ‘Third party intermediary of the year (Broker of the Year)’ at the national Energy Awards, rounding off a successful 2015.

The Energy Awards are the most prestigious ceremony in the industry’s calendar, rewarding businesses for innovation and best practice. In a hotly contested category, Inenco were presented with the Broker of the Year award in recognition of their efforts this year to support businesses with their energy needs and keep clients up to date with legislative and market changes.

Inenco chief executive Michael Abbott said: “We’re thrilled to have been awarded broker of the year at this year’s Energy Awards. It’s a direct result of how hard our team work to support our customers with every aspect of their energy needs.”

Energy Awards host Andrew Gaved said:

“It is fitting that in the week of the Paris global climate talks, we can celebrate projects, technology and services that make a real difference to our energy use. The winners here demonstrate that innovation in energy can help save the planet and often save money at the same time – and that should provide inspiration for both for businesses and governments alike.”

Inenco’s most recent success follows two commendations earlier in the year, with the energy consultancy named as ‘Energy Buying Team of the Year’ and ‘Consumer Champion’ at the Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs) in summer 2015.
