Ofgem Accreditation

Helping you get the most from your generation.

Helping your organisation to achieve accreditation

Ofgem accreditation is a mandatory requirement for all renewable electricity generators. Without accreditation, your business isn’t eligible to receive the subsidies available for renewable generation, including Feed in Tariff (FiT), Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROC) and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).

“Our in house accreditation experts assess the viability of your renewable generation project managing the whole process for you, including gaining the correct permissions and compiling the business case. ”

Steve Kemp - Head of Renewables

In expert hands

We know that the Ofgem accreditation process can be time consuming. That’s why we’ve created our Ofgem Accreditation and Management service, so we can handle the entire process for you. The service comprises options that will take your business through the complex registration process, support you to meet accreditation requirements, and – should you require it – provide ongoing management of the Ofgem relationship, even keeping you up to speed with the latest developments in renewables legislation.

Our accreditation experts will help you to assess the viability of your renewable generation project from the very beginning. We’ll manage the whole process for you, from building the business case and obtaining planning permission to investigating factors such as the energy source, location, grid connection requirements, generation capacity, availability and funding.

Your Submission

We’ll carefully prepare your submission to ensure you achieve accreditation as quickly as possible, dealing with any Ofgem queries on your behalf. We’ll tailor our service around your business needs, obtaining the right accreditation and subsidies for your particular technology.

Following successful accreditation, we’ll manage the ongoing administrative requirements for you. We’ll make sure that your register is kept up to date and deal with any reporting requirements and certificate transfers on your behalf.
